Whats your prediction on gamespot score for dishonored?

Not trying to start a war or anything.

I personally think 8.5 out of 10. I hope its something fresh and that it doesn't flop. I have been looking foward to it since it was first mentioned.

I would guess a 9.0 from what I have seen so far.

7.5 me thinks but I really have no idea.

from what ive seen of the game it looks like a lovely mix of mirrors edge and assassin's creed. considering how well accepted those games are, im expecting dishonored to score relatively well, given it controls well

If what's been promised turns out true, I expect a 9.0 or 9.5.

i dont know. it looks really good and the media has been optimistic so i expect it to be received well. one wild card is the performance because you can never really know if there will be notable technical issues or how they will effect one reviewer (or if the publisher will intentionally hide an inferior version and the reviewers assume all platforms perform the same...). the other is the individual mechanics because it supports a broad range of play sty|es. it can be hard to tell if theyll be strong across the board and whether or not the reviewer will look at them on the whole or separately.

either way, i'm excited for it and i expect to play it.

More worried about the glitchy console ports than some arbitrary score, to be honest.

After the Resi 6 review I really dont care(didnt care before actually lol).From what I've seen so far it looks like a 9,but gamespot will probably turn that into an 8.5 like most other games.

I predict a 7.5/10 rating from Gamespot. But in my opinion (the only one that matters) it looks amazing!

First review leaked from CVG

According to the closing comments of CVGs review, Dishonored offers incredible freedom, features an exciting and believable dystopian world and works equally well as a stealth or an action game. In its video review (that was also leaked but is private right now), CVG stated that Dishonored is GOTY and that it was a once in a generation game that rewards patience.

In other news, some gamers got their copies earlier than anticipated and managed to finish the game under four hours. We should note that other gamers have finished Arkanes title in under six-seven hours, suggesting that the games length depends entirely on your playing style. Level designer Dan Todd, on the other hand, said that the game should last about 20 hours, give or take. As he wrote in the official Bethesda forum:

"My ghost and no kills playthrough took 22 hours. Thats without exploring every nook and cranny, and knowing the solution to everything beforehand."

I think it'll be 8.5 for X360 and 8.0 for PS3. Let's be realistic, Bethesda and PS3 don't play well together.mav_destroyer

Bethesda is publishing it. It's made by Arcane Studios using the Unreal 3 engine. Doubt it will be a glitch/bug fest.

I guess a 7/10, not that I have any interest in it. I don't trust bugthesda enough to purchase any more of their games anyway, they may only be publishing it but as long as they're happy to release bug ridden games count me out.. at least until I see some improvements.

Guessing would be much more fun if GS didn't round up the rating on 0,5 and 0,0's
