To be honest I don't play my PSP as much as I'd like to as it seems my hand held time always seems to go to my DS, however I tend to play it most when something new comes out or when I'm on a long trip.
How do you people carry your psp around in public? I know that girls can carry it in purses, but for a guy, it's not really natural to have something like a backpack unless you just got out of school.

Mine stays in the house. I can't use it while sitting in a car as it makes me feel travel sick lol. So I just use it at home. Though I sometimes took it to 6th Form to kill time between lessons. It'd probably get stolen anyway as it would stick out a mile it I put it in a pocket.

I just carry it in my pocket. I would be scared to leave it in a backpack.
Toilet and when I have only 20-30 minutes to game at any given moment. I'll admit I don't play it as much since I got my PS3. At this rate I won't be finishing Persona for... quite some time. :P

That's easy I put mine in my PSP case and I put it in my pocket it won't fall out my pockets anyway I always make sure it doesn't
The only time I really play my PSP is when a new Metal Gear game comes out then I play the crap outa that game till I find every thing I can.Love me some Metal Gear :D. Always some thing new in those games.
Pretty much exclusively during free time when I'm at work. Sometimes I have to close and if I do, I spend hours just sitting on my ass waiting for people to come in, where it only takes about 1-5 minutes to take care of their business. That being said, I voted free time.
Very rarely. I need to get some more games. I also need time to play it. When I'm at school, I'm paying attention to new material or day-dreaming during review. At home, I'm playing whatever console game I'm addicted to(at the moment it's Alan Wake) and watching Giant Bomb stuff while I let my systems cool off.
I use my PSP whenever my internet lags to the point that Team Fortress 2 runs like a bunch of slideshows, or when my parents use my computer, or when I'm not at home, or when I'm about to sleep, or when I'm just tired of staring at the computer. So yeah, I use the PSP very often.
