I heard at E3 that PS3 80 gig will cost $399........but when? I'm getting one when that happens.

Late August early September. I think I read somewhere it was going to be available @ August 28th

just note that you might not be getting the same 80 gb with BC but a 40gb with an 80 gb harddrive. buyers beware!!!
