When I play COD4, my PS3 Turn off by it self...

I can play any other games for hours... however whenever I play COD4, my PS3 will automatically shut off after 30 minutes of playing. This happened recently and 3 times already. Is there a reason for this... I believe my PS3 is up to date.. is there any manual update require for COD4 for auto shut off of PS3?

lol, I can play GTAIV for hours man... however, I don't know why it shutting off doing when it play COD4.

Do you not have an Internet connection to your PS3? The game does have updates that it grabs online... but I wouldn't think it would fix crashing. Then again, maybe the first update fixed crashing or something.djHaQ

Yes, I just got the game and it will turn off the whole PS3 after a few min. WTF!!!

I thought the PS3 was overheating until I read this post. This never happens with my other games.

That is correct, though I don't know if the fix will really help. Try it, I guess.

You are not the only one. I have had it reset on me mid game and I lose all my kills and stats for the match I was playing. I dont know what causes it though.
