It will be released when the bugs are worked out and no one really knows when it will be released. Another thing HOME isn't really a game but it's a on-line community for gamers to interact with each other in a virtual world.jimm895
Yeah, but the character and house customization look like a lot of fun... and a good place to hang out with friends... I can't do that on any other game and it just looks like a lot of fun...
Probably around May or June.
The BETA is in the final stages of development.
Sony can take as long as they want to release HOME. Sony does not release anything unless it's been tested and tested again. That's why I love them so much. They only release quality. Sure it sucks to wait and wait but, it saves us all pain and suffering which we have received from other consoles. ;)
When the BETA is released this year it will be a huge success. Sony will finally be on top of the world. :D
Closed beta ends 20th of march thats all ima tell you folks my other betas are at risk if i say too much possibly look forward end of spring/start summer but thats just a ball park guess not even the Home boards give complete info well they do but im not willing to miss out on the KZ2 beta so Home will most def. come after the 20th be it a public beta or the final product but give it more time CommanderTy
Funny you say you are in the beta yet you didnt know that the closed beta has been extended to May 15:|

Dunno the beta started last May and has been extended for a year, so seeing its been extended so much don't look for it for a while
Why do they even have closed betas... the selection for those things is crazy... they look at your profile and check complaints and check your age... they pick people who are good people and good members of the community... I am not saying you guys don't deserve it... but they need the no-lifers that sit on games after release and find glitches... that is who they need... they need modders and glitchers who know where to look for these things... the whole point of a beta is trial and error... they see what people like and dislike, what problems people had and what glitches occured...
I don't understand why they don't have an open beta with a forum to report glitches... I know it could get crowded and packed... but not if they check daily... On the sony forums... the actual console and game pages... the devs post in those forums like once a month if even that... the last post in the SOCOM forum was like 4 months ago from that SealTeamSix guy... if they check daily... record the glitch and then remove the thread... they would be good to go...
E3 is in july, so expect some news then.hermes200
I doubt there will be any news reported online from E3 on this... maybe in the Sony announcements.... but E3 this year will be Gears of War 2, Killzone 2, Resident Evil 5, and a whole new scheme of games releasing in 2009...

Now I cant talk about the forum but the devs usually post daily. Way i see them picking people for the Home Closed beta they wanted 15,000 people I think that is more than enough. You say we don't have glitchers or modders well we cant mod home but we find a crap load of glitches. ill tell you since the update went up the post were we post bugs it is close to 200 pages so we do actually do something and that's just the USA side the European players have their own forum.

Wrong, E3 is also about news in games to be released soon after it, and specially in the holidays season. It is all about marketing and breaking news, and they are not giving the shake the ground with more "next year" stuff.
My guess is that if the "game" is not released before june, they will put it on hold to use it as a driving force in Sony's keynote...

Well can get to know one of the Devs and become buddy buddy with him... and ask him when us normal Joes will get a chance to play his fantastic looking game's beta... I downloaded that home preview from the market like 2 years ago and it said "Coming Soon"... I am just really hyped... that or could you go rogue and video tape everything you do and put it on youtube!?

I am refurring to the game sites... sites like gamespot and gametrailers will be all over the big titles and will not go anywhere near the smaller titles... when I said the only mention of this we will get is in the Sony speech... I meant on one of these game sites... because I doubt that gamespot will go over to a home booth when there is a Killzone 2 booth right next to it...

I have asked multiple times to the Dev that I can talk to and he has said " No Comment". You're not the only who is disappointed that its not released.
