When is The Best time To get a PS3 ?

I want to get a PS3 but i only have a part-time job and i don't want 2 go mad with money , what i want to know is when the price is going down.I also want certain games like FF13 ,mgs4,GTA4 and so on.

So part of the year just i consider buying the system? this year?next year?

I suggest to wait for the June Bundle of the PS3 with MGSIV....

I got mine last august and that was a good time for me cause its been nearly 8 months i've been enjoying my PS3 :)

No price drops are announced atm, but there will be one in the future. GTA4 comes out on April 29th, MGS4 comes out on June 12th, Final Fantasy will be next year sometime.

The PS3 has hit the lowest price point ($399) that it's going to for a long time. Buy now, or wait till 2011.

Probably about a year ago -- 60GIG SKU FTW!!1!

But otherwise, there is now a lot of great titles out there for the PS3. If you don't already have a 360, you should probably pick up a PS3 soon so you don't miss out on the great games that are here (MotorStorm, Warhawk, Uncharted, COD4, etc.) and you'll be prepared for the great games to come (GTAIV, MGS4, LBP, Resistance 2, etc.).

On the other hand, I suppose you could always wait for one of the GT : P or MGS bundles coming out later.

Killzone

Metal gear Solid 4

GTA IV

Resistance 2

SOCOM : Confrontation

at least when 3 of those games come out and u have to get : Resistance fall of man , Call of duty 4 and warhawk and heavenly sword

I bought mine when it first came out. I was stocking them so I literally was the first person there to get one. Yay late night Wal-mart.

I say the June bundle with Dualshock 3 and Metal Gear Solid 4. Gives you time to save up munnies and make a more educated purchase (by that I mean buy a huge HDTV too)

I think the real question is: "When will you have enough money to finally buy one"

After you save up, go ahead and buy it. There is no need to wait, when you want something - you go and grab it. :)

The MGS4 bundle will be $499, so there's no difference in price. But you could get a PS3 now, sell the F1 game that comes with it, and buy GTA4 in april. I don't think waiting for the bundle would make much difference, but it's your call.

There was a rumor that a new "slim and lite" version of the PS3 was coming out this fall, but I find it hard to believe. That's some hell of a piece of hardware, and I don't think their engineers could pull it out so soon. Besides, Sony hasn't recovered the investments just yet, so my guess is they'll be delaying that for at least a couple more years, when the biggest exclusives come out.

There's actually many left. Go to a Sam's Club. No one really goes there to buy games. I saw both 20s and 60s recently.
