When is the release date for COD: Modern Warfare 2 again?

I can't remember i checked but forgot lol. I'm getting a ps3 for my birthday now since the cut (wooot)
And I liked playing COD 4. But if the released date is still within this year COD 4 wouldnt be worth getting.
