When the hell are the good games coming?!

Um.. nearly all those games on your gamercard are available for the PS3... except Halo and Mass Effect (which both suck anyways).

I haven't even touched my 360 since I got my PS3 about 3 weeks ago.

I haven't even downloaded that free "game" that m$ offered for XBL being down.

The good games are already out there (Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, R&C, UT3, Ninja Gaiden Sigma and tons of multiplats). The hardcore exclusives will take a few months.

The games will start rolling in February and won't stop until November. January is the worst time to release games, same with movies.1nverted

I'm not saying to go out and buy those games. I'm simply saying alot of those game you are playing are multiplats. And yes, Halo and Mass Effect are overated. I sold Halo 2 weeks after I bought it, and Mass effect was so boring I gave it to someone.

Well if you only bought your PS3 for exclusives then you're going to be waiting a while. However just next month we get Burnout Paradise, Turok and DMC4.

For starters, there isn't that much in exclusives on either console for a few months. Right now the industry is going into hermit mode in prep. for GDC at the end of Febuary. We may even hear some release dates or details from then on. Games are coming out, but they're gonna be multi-plat for a lil while. Personally, i think The Club and DMC4 look like great purchases. Also, if your looking for a fun, addicting as hell game and you have access to PSN points or a credit card, I HIGHLY recommend PixelJunk Monsters. That game has had me goin for 2 days now. I can't put it down its incredible. and to top it of, only $7.99! Also, Folklore is a very much overlooked but also an incredible PS3 game, I highly suggest you try that.Shensolidus

its been a year.. and the ps3 has offered quite a lineup imo.. but nothing yet i find jawdropping and innovative.. lol maybe superstardust but lol its short.. i don't know .. i'm waiting for the new series that's new gen.. like resistance.. i'm definately hooked on the storyline..expanded

I'll go ahead and agree that Halo and Mass Effect both suck. They don't suck immensely, but they were a MAJOR letdown. After those 2 games, my 360 is pretty much finished. I'm tired of believing the hype, sorry. As for the PS3, there are already some awesome games for it, but I agree that the library needs to grow!, fast, because I only watch TV shows on my 360 now. :)

Mass effect is probably the best game i have played in the last few years, and i play a lot of games. From looking at these boards, the majority of people who dislike mass effect are into "japanesized" games and, therefore, generally do not appericate, or even like, western rpgs. But that's just an observation.

The only game I love that might be construed as "japaneseized" would be Ratchet. I absolutely HATE anime style games. I LOVE RPG's though. Yet, I HATE mass effect. The technology is ghetto by today's standards, the story is annoying, and about as deep as a movie made by Jackie Chan Productions, and the art style is about as good as HALO 1 for the xbox1. I haven't been more deprressed by a purchase since Irritating Stick for the NeoGeo.

I've played the demo on both systems. It's not really about content that is different, from what I can tell. It just looks a slight bit better on the PS3 and the framerate is absolutely solid (60fps). If one can't tell the difference graphically between the two systems, the framerate difference is apparent. It's a bit laggy on the 360.

I really like my PS3 but right now its collecting dust cause there's nothing to play on it! I know MGS4 is coming but we still have no release date, other games keep getting delayed (Haze I'm looking at you), there is no info on other big titles like Killzone 2. What do PS3 owners have to do to get something good!? I mean DMC4 is coming but I'll probably get it for the 360 cause of the rumble feature alone and its even getting a great looking JRPG something that the PS3 NEEDS BAD right now. Who the hell thought the 360 was gonna get a great JRPG before the PS3? It just makes no sense. Is there someone out there that can give me some hope that I will be using my PS3 fairly soon or are well all just stuck waiting? I don't think I'm particularly hot, but it's a picture of me. What's really funny is that I'm irritated in that picture because I'm holding my boyfriend's surfboard while he's screwing around with his buddies digging these ugly looking crabs out of the sand.
