When will Cod4 lose the status of "Best online shooter?"

Now I've played virtually every online shooter you can name . Including MGS online . Would have to say cod4 is by far superior to any other . Your thoughts? How long will it take for a better online shooter to come out?What do you think it will be?

I wouldnt say I hate the game, more of got bored of it.:)

The next great online shooters will be, Lawn Gnomes: To The Hedge And Beyond. And it's expansion pack, Lawn Gnomes: Bloodbath At The Koi Pond.

They will be released on April 92nd and November 48th in 2073.

Remember for the best in ultra-violent Gnome warfare, always choose Lawn Gnomes.

Oh and in my opinion Counter-Strike wasn't very good, i'm not sure why but i never liked it.

Cod4 was never good to begin with, im jk, but most definetly once resistance 2 comes out. :)realistic44

Yeah it wasn't really that funny. And CS 1.6 was good. Source wasn't.

Im not trying to be funny :|, thats the point, im being honest and truthful when i said that, cod4 single player was extremely short about 4-5 hours length long, i can finish the game in about a day even depending what mode it is , it felt more like a restricted demo then it did of an actual video game, only thing really kept me interested in the game was its decent multiplayer, but even then, you get connection server lost, or host ends game, so um yea:|, resistance 2, imo, would take its throne once it comes out, by the way i havent played counter-strike yet so i dont know what to tell you :?, but as for call of duty 4, you get the picture. ;)

As stated above , probably Resistance 2. Although I haven't tried Metal Gear Online. So I can't really say as of yet. But CoD4 is a great online shooter, probably one of the best to date.

COd5, no way. it's being made by treyarch, the blodgers who butchered the 3rd one.

I prefered the online for hte original Resistance. I can tell you what SHOULD be reigning right now - beside MGO, but that is obvious - Enemy Territory Quake Wars. It takes time to learn properly and most people are not willing to give it time, which is sad because what lies underneath is a very in depth and excellent game that, unlike CoD 4, requires actual thinking.

Oh. Team Fortress 2 is also better online than CoD4.....so is Warhawk.

I enjoyed playing Resistance, Vegas 1 and 2, Warhawk, GRAW2, and Unreal Tournament III online much more then CoD4.

You weren't really even talking about COD4. You were talking about freakin' lawn gnomes, and maybe if you weren't one of those ppl who played games 5hrs straight you'd see that the SP is loger than you think.
