When will the price drop?

Hi, does anyone know or can give a rough prediction when the PS3 will go down in price? I really want to get one but I don't want to pay $600 for it. All of the stores I go to (Best Buy, Target, Wal Mart, Circuit City) the PS3s both 20 and 60GB are laying in abundence with 5 to 10 per store showing ther aren't selling. Any help is appreciated.

Pricing is relative indeed:

Althought you must pay more dollar wise for a EuroPS3, compared to the average wages in the US, it really is not very different in price.

Meaning, althought we pay more in Europe, we also get paid more in Europe.
