When will the ps4 show it's muscle?

I know on paper the ps4 is a more powerful machine.

With that being said the xbox one games look more graphically impressive.  Why do you suppose that is? 

I'm fully backing the ps4 because I like what sony is doing.  When can we expect these great looking games coming out for the ps4?

I thought KZ looked pretty good and some of the little details in The Divison were really cool (though, it is multi-platform).  I'd imagine we'll see some new games as the year goes on, there are some gaming events still to come. 

However, I thought exclusives for both systems both looked abuot the same graphically (i.e. very good), are there any specific examples of one looking exceptionally good?

A year after it launches same as every Sony console, quality takes time but once its had that time we will start seeing stuff that will really drop our jaws and show what the system is capable of.  It may be easier to develop for but that doesn't change the fact that every console has needed about a year until it really started to wow people.

Keep your ears open at Gamescom.  Sony going to announce some games then, and a month later is TGS.  You know somethings gonna drop then, too!!!

I suppose like every other console it will show it's true potential 2-3 years into its gen. With the PS4's power there's no excuse for any game being below 1080p and 60 fps.

Killzone looked pretty impressive, even streaming at 720p.

But really, at first a lot of games are going to be designed for current gen and next gen (like AC4, Diablo 3, Call of Duty: Ghosts, etc), which kinda limits the next gen version. When I look at The Last of Us, it finally appears that we are now seeing the full potential of PS3, and we're at the end of the generation.

I understand you mean, MANY people fell for MS visual tricks during E3, they looked more "shiny" but in reality they were inferior (in tech).

Most MS games shown were using the exact same techniques we saw in current gen, only using higher resolution and higher resolution textures.

Forza 5 uses fixed lighting while DriveClub uses Global Dynamic Lighting, Forza 5 has no dynamic weather or day/night cycle while DriveClub has all that and even dynamic cloud formations and REAL star maps at night.

Same with other games, Killer Instinct was literally high res current gen. Ryse was just awfull... full of jaggies.

Infamous Second Son showed us particle effects that no X1 game showed in E3.

The games just didnt look as good because they were very unfinished. Using new techniques wont allow a dev to create & polish a game as quickly as recycling current gen stuff.

I suggest you wait for GamesCom/TGS to see if they show us more completed builds of the same games (and announce a few more!).

Says who? Keep in mind that the Xbox One game demos at E3 were running on a higher-end PC rig and not the actual Xbox one. As for when the PS4 will flex it's muscles, we'll, whenever Naughty Dog releases Uncharted 4!!!
