when will we see a kingdom hearts 3

Okay we have been waiting over 4 years since kh2 and all we got was a remake of com come on haha and now we got one comming out on the ds and ive recently heard that they are making a new kh games and guess wat its not 3 soo tell me your thoughts on this and what you all think

You're referring to 358/2 for the DS, and Birth By Sleep for the PSP. I imagine Sqaure wants to add more depth to the conclusion of 2 via 358/2, tell us more about Vin, Aqua, and Terra in the form of Birth By Sleep to set us up for 3. I'm hoping that's the case.

My guess is it will be like FFXIII. Square always says, it'll be next year, and then it will come out four years after they orginally said.

I say another two or three years. They are swamped enough with Birth by Sleep and358/2 Days.

Nomura usually unveils his new projects at TGS. TGS takes place just days before the 358/2 Days US release so the timing is there, but I think we'll probably see much more of KH:BBS and Versus XIII before we get a glimpse of KH3 tho.

Birth by Sleep will by hyped like a numbered sequel and its rumored that there will be some kind of secret ending in BBS. My guess would be TGS10

Remember too that the development team that's been working on Kingdom Hearts has also been putting in some overtime working on Final Fantasy Versus XIII.

Nomura stated that hes not working on it at the moment, I don't believe that for one second tho. The Kingdom Hearts team is currently working on Versus XIII, as far as I know they aren't helping out on FFXIII anymore, if they were working exclusively on Versus XIII, I think we would have seen SOMETHING new at E3. Plus Nomura is usually working on several projects at once. I'd be willing to bet KH3 is at least in pre-production.

We dont even know if "We", will ever know anything about a third KH main installment, for all we know this game could be exclusive for a another platform. Star Ocean and Ace Combat are examples of franchises that were taken simply taken elsewhere.

Maybe tetsuya nomura will bring it for the Ps3 or maybe he will be forced to do otherwise

its going to be atleast another few years, the makers of the kingdom hearts series have already said that they want to finish ff13V before they start working on kingdom hearts 3, assuming they develop for the ps3 it is going be a fairly long wait

I say who cares. The second one was cool but failed to live up to the first one's epicness. With square being lazy and not giving systems their fair share of games I would say if there is a KH 3 it will be nothing but pure cash in and most likely won't be on PS3.

This generation JRPG's have been on the low and average side with a few exceptions. I have almost lost all interest in FF 13 regular. I saw the Japanese demo and wasn't that impressed. It won't use PS3 to it's full potential like square says. They are full of crap and use the DS as a remake cash in factory. It's not the fact that 13 is multiplat, just don't sit there and say it will use unique capabilities of PS3. Other than the blu ray storage, it won't use anything. If I were you I would look elsewhere for RPG's like level 5, Sega, and NIS. Square is nothing but greedy hogs. They claim that FF 13 is expensive and so they "needed" to multiplatform it to make money but yet they announce FF 14 online. and buy Eidos. It doesn't sound like your running out of money to me.
