Where are all the female ps3 owners?

 Okay so not a whole lot of ppl in the world have a ps3 but im betting most of them who do are male. What i am worried about is Home is it going to be a virtual sausage fest or what. I mean i am not going to go on home to meet girls or anything like that but it would kinda be uncomfortable to always be around virtual men ( i am not a homophobe). Regardless im still gonna use home but its just a thought that occurred to me.

I know of a few , but people like you might scare them away.

I think I could't care less aboout the amount of male / female players in Home or any online game.

I don't think the experience is going to change much. After all, you won't be interacting directly with the people logged on to home, but with their avatars. Behind them could be anybody.

Some things you just dont need girls to participate in.  Football games, kung-fu tournaments, am wreslting matches, video games...  I mean.  It's cool if you're playing and your girlfriend is there admiring your excellent hand eye cordination.  But you dont want her at home playing with you online. TLHope

Wow just wow. I can't say about fotball since i don't know any chicks in football. In Futbol err soccer there are alot. In martial arts at least in my school, half of them are girls and most of them are excelent in Taekwondo. In the tornaments i've seen there are A  LOT of females. Whestling I dont know about but in video games what does being female or male have to do with it. Like football or weshtling men are just plain build biggger top wise so i understand that but videgames there isn't any reason a chick wouldn't be good at it. i've played a few chicks on Resistance and frankly i got owned by 2 of them. (btw I dont suck at it)

Rather you like it or not, Home will turn into the very thing alot of us dread..... "Any hot girls? age 16-18 please respond, i'm very nice and just want to talk to a girl" and then if he's lucky enough he might actually meet a real online female gamer, then he'll talk about everything that has gone bad in his life and his G/F left him for his best friend and that he's thinking about joining the MILITARY because he has nothing going for his life, then after along time talking he'll say "I think I might actually love you" and then she'll say "Aww thanks, I like you to" ..... and then he'll think that he found an online G/F and try and act all mature about it, knowing he's a complete geek. *Ahem* I've seen it happen on every game/online chat room i've ever joined, if it happened there it will happen here. Yeah I know what you mean. I usually chew them out when these losers do that "Goto a effin chat room, shut up and play!"

But for some reason though, I think there will be more females in Home that we expect. I dunno, from what I've seen the past few years, girls seem to dig this kinda stuff (virtual life related) I bet about half of them are playing it on someone else's PS3 aswell. Probley won't be able to play any games with them though. I personally wouldn't venture out much in Home(rather keep to a select few), cause I know that what you said would run rampid and I don't feel like popping a vein in my head over it. I personally don't care what gender I come across, if you play the same games I do and aren't a complete idiot, then on the friends list you go. I've played against a lot of girls before, and yeah at times, it's kinda "refreshing" hearing a female voice once in awhile (to games that actually HAVE voice chat). But that's as far as that goes. There are plenty of dating sites on the net to try and pick up somebody. I've heard they also even have gamer dating sites, so there ya go. LEAVE IT OUT OF THE GAMES.

they may look female but are they? you playing a dangerous game ever going through the net to find love....her real name is barry and "she" works accounting and likes them young....

this whole thread is nonsense. if you're going online looking for girls in home or worried about who's online then you're as lame as they come. there are female gamers out there but 9 out of 10 are not attractive at all lol. not to mention on home with all the idiots and freakos that are gamers you'll end up with probably half the female avatars will actually be guys. 

either way looking for or worrying about how many girls there will be on home is lame. go outside and find some real women and try talking to them. lol.
