Soo, last year I bought Savage Moon, Shatter, Pixeljunk stuff, WipeoutHD/Fury, and countless more really fun and great arcade games . This year, I haven't bought anything because ...there hasn't been anything worthy been released . Come on publishers ! Bring some arcadey stuff !! Emulate some Amiga or neo geo games if you don't know what to release !

So who else thinks the store has been lame this year in terms of full games ?

Final Fight: Double Impact.

Revenge of the Wounded Dragons- it'll remind you of Double Dragon.

Only now that you mention PSN games, it does seem to be lacking original new releases recently, but there is planety of stuff there.

I'm looking forward to Journey next year.

No everyone likes the series, but I found Soldner X to be quite good.

On my way home I am gettin' a PSN card... I've had my eye on "Red Baron Arcade" for the longest time and I think I'm gonna pull the trigger. But I would agree with you there has been a general slow-down in new stuff from PSOne ports to original IPs...

:|

They're so busy trying to get the PSN+ stuff to sell, they've forgotten about the rest of us...

Well don't we just have an artificially inflated opinion of our place in the world? You're welcome to it. As that "service" stands right now, I wouldn't wipe my nose on it...

When it comes to spending money for titles on PSN, your paid status makes you no more important than any of the rest of the PS3 owners out there, bub. They want our money too, we just weren't interested in a completely watered-down XBL experience. Enjoy.

I'm surprised there aren't more Symphony of the Night or Super Metroid knockoffs - conceptually the games are not difficult to design, and they're incredibly compelling to play. Shadow Complex is easily the best downloadable game released on any service in the past couple of years (except maybe Plants vs Zombies). Also, like Braid I expect Limbo to hit both PSN and the PC eventually - with the PC version being the cheapest.

Agreed on Shadow Complex
