Where are the RPG's?

so I bought a PS3 to buy next gen RPG's. It's been 2 yrs now & there are barely any out. While the 360 is getting all the good ones like Blue Dragon, Last Remnant, Lost Odyssey, Star Ocean. 360 is even getting FF XIII. If this continue I'll probably trade my PS3 for a 360.

How come Square Enix is making everything exclusive to 360 now? The only exclusive they have for the PS3 is FF versus XIII. Which is probably gonna go to 360 too.

I guess I'mma have to grab a 360 just to play the Last Remnant & Star Ocean.

Before you do that, just wait a little. SE just said that they stop making exclusives and it's likely that those Games will be aviable on PS3 as well. Besides that, Valkyria Chronicles and Disgaea 3 are great RPGs that are PS3 exclusives

Give the ps3 some time. When the 360 came out they didn't have any RPGs for awhile. All they had were Enchanted Arms and Elder Scrolls: Oblivion.

Try Eternal Sonta or Valkryia Chronicles(Spelling) to feed your RPG needs. 

Put it this way, the PS3 is also getting Final Fantasy XIII, but by the way, Blue dragon wasn't that good. Eternal Sonata is out on PS3 (I think) and I guess if you looking for any old J-RPG you could hang around the playstation store as Final Fantasy VII will be coming onto that store eventually. (It better be soon sony!)

Current available jRPGs on the PS3 are as follows : Disgaea 3, Eternal Sonata, Valkyria Chronicles, Enchanted Arms. 360 available jRPGs are Enchanted Arms, Infinite Undiscovery, Tales of Vesperia, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, and Last Remnant. Let's take a deep look at the contents of each : 1) 360 doesn't have THAT MUCH MORE jRPGs than the PS3 to begin with. Only 3 extra titles so far. Not bad for the year headstart. If you want current generation jRPGs, buy a PSP or a DS. 2) Out of all the current PS3 titles, two are under 7.0 (Disgaea 3 and Enchanted Arms, though Disgaea 3 is underscored by IGN, many player reviews concord with this), and 2 of them have scored an 8.0 or above on IGN (ES and VC). One of them is at least AAA (Valkyria Chronicles). Looking towards the 360, none of them are AAA material (according to IGN), 1 is unreviewed, 3 of them flopped (under 7.0), and 3 of them are in the 8 range. I see little improvement in the 360's library, and the PS3 caught up surprisingly fast in these last 2 years. I don't see a drought here. And Last Remnant is multiplatform anyway. White Knight Story is releasing in December in Japan, and we still get our FFXIII title along with the elusive FF Versus XIII. In all respects, we have lost little to Microsoft except exclusivity. We still get multiplatforms. And Infinite Undiscovery is a joke.Brainhunter

Last Remnant is for the PS3 as well.... and you also have Valkyria Chronicles which has received reviews better than that of any RPG games listed so far.... Valkyria Chronicles is PS3 exclusive

The 360 has Tales of Vesperia and Fable II as their best exclusive next-gen RPG titles at the moment, with Enchanted Arms and Eternal Sonata on both systems now, and the PS3 got the superior version of Eternal Sonata. You've got Oblivion GOTY and Fallout 3 on PS3 as well. Some would consider Disgaea 3 a must have exclusive, while it doesn't venture much into next-gen territory, it's long lasting fun. However, the best next-gen JRPG is Valkyria Chronicles, a new PS3 exclusive. I think it's good if people are happy having a few more average RPGs on the 360, but I personally consider my time to be valuable and I want to experience the best titles that deliver an unforgettable experience. That's why I have a PS3, because the PS3 has a trend of getting the most amazing exclusives rather than a ton of games I don't care about. I would get VC though, while you still have a PS3.

play eternal sonata. seriously im abit of a FF fanboy, and I can honestly say that im having MORE fun with ES than any FF since 9 or 10.

Also the fact that the game is 1,2 or 3 players is the icing on the cake!

Well the two best RPGs on the PS3 are Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Fallout 2 is slightly better on the Xbox360, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is much better on the PS3.

If he really had a PS3 he would already know all RPG that were out already and the ones coming.
