hmm, I think what you mean is 'TV' rather than monitor then, if you want cheap hd tv's you can probably pick a 26" for about $800-900, I picked up my samsung 26'one for about $1200 australian, and couldn't be happier. I think getting a proper hd tv would be a lot more worth it. Since you've spent all that money on your ps3 already, might as well enjoy it on a proper tv than a monitor.

That is the main problem....Spent so much money on ps3...now i cant afford a HDTV...but can buy a monitor cause its a lot cheaper....

Professional opinion, and I highly suggest you listen to it-

SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR A PROPER HDTV!!!

Do not stinge out on this, get a Samsung LCD HDTV, one with HDMI, 1080P, and one that has billions of colors (also known as 10-bit processing) you will never be more happy with your purchase. I know I am, trust me, I am a connisseur of HDTV's and I must say with the proper HDTV, you CAN notice the difference of quality between component video cables and HDMI. I love my HDTV, and I want you to love yours too. Trust me, it'll pay off in the longrun, just sit back and wait, save money, and you'll appreciate my advice, there isn't a doubt in my mind.
