Where can I get good prices for the memory stick?

umm they are not expensive, like 1gig is 40 bucks in gamestop

Best places I have found:

Frys.com and buy.com: Both of these sites sell 4gb memory sticks for $60 or less from time to time, pretty much one of the best deals you can get and still ensure that the memory isn't fake.

Bestbuy and Circuit City: Both places have 1gb sticks for $20 from time to time, and very often at $30. I bought mine from Best Buy for $30 almost a year ago, so they are even easier now to find for cheaper.

Don't spend more than $40 on a 2gb card either...I see them all of the time at the places mentioned above for this price and many other stores.

You can easily save $20-$30 on your memory stick if you don't just go out and buy the first one you see...and that's enough money to buy another game.

Don't buy from ebay or walmart though...ebay because almost all of them are fake, and walmart because they never have any deals on memory sticks and they are priced higher than most stores for the same stick. ;)

I just picked up my 2GB stick on Amazon for $39.99. San Disk, great brand.

that's a good deal.. i bought mine for 90 this past december.. you should definetly wait either for the 4gb price to drop(but all you need is 2gb-for starters, then move your way up.. because you'll realize the psp's potential) or you could wait till the 8gb or higher comes out.  REMEMBER.. memory sticks and game saves are not like it is on the PS or PS2.. game saves are like crumbs on a memory stick.. if all you want to do on the psp is play games, you wont even need 1gb.. you can get a 512mb.. i think its about 15 0r even 10bucks now.
