My mom is only going to let me hold a job during the summer because she wants me to focus on school work during the school year (4.0 Advanced Placement Honor Roll stupent -ZING!), so that won't be a problem... The girlfriend thing... I either need to get her slowly addicted to video games (start out with a little flOw, move to Ratchet and Clank after that, you know, build her up), or just find a girlfriend that plays video games. :P
Or just suffer the rest of my years.
being that im single i get quite a bit of play time.
i work my arse off 5-6 days a week in the travel industry, but i manage at least 2 hours gaming a day. sometimes 3. thats really enough though.
on weekends, if im high or drunk or something, i can put more hours in at one time. I played the final battle of Crysis on PC the other night, for like 1.5 hours straight after getting back from the pub. i dont even remember getting to the bit i was up to.
as for Ratchet and Clank...that games long dude. im playing it at the moment and its pretty awesome, but doesnt seem to end haha. which is a good thing i guess, but not when i've got like 5 other games still to play. i dont like playing more than 1 or 2 at once, otherwise you forget the story lines.
You just gotta prioritize, you wasting 8 hours a night sleeping?AlienOverlord
sometimes i need 8 hours. with my lifestyle...i sometimes only manage 8 hours sleep over a whole weekend
I wouldn't be suprised if they skip work, school, dump their significant other and whatnot. Or, they are just unemployeed, live at home people.

lol that episode was truly classic!, i can understand wasting a couple weekends on a game or something, but 10 whole days like cmon! i have a gf, job, school a.k.a a life, gaming is awsome and all but i consider it a hobby not a lifestlye. those people are ridiculas (esp. considering the length of time the game has been out for)

i agree, at least thats the healthy way to approach it.
i just cant understand how some people actually take gaming that seriously that not only do they compete, they actually class themselves as Professional Gamers, making it a lifestyle. fair enough some of them if they are lucky actually get paid to do it (which is also unbelievable) but still..
