Best buy or walmart, which happen to be the 2 stores closest to me that sell video games. I don't buy game from Gamestop, since they try to sell me used games as new.

Amazon is the way to go. Usually cheaper to begin with, plus free shipping (over $25) and no sales tax.

Take Uncharted 2 for instance:

Best Buy - $59.99 + $4-5 sales tax = $64-65

Amazon - $56.99

Save $7-8

Well, you have to have money, and an address. :) Shipping takes a week or less, although I think it's faster if you pre-order something.

I don't buy that many games right now. Money is tight & I don't play the full library of games I already have. And I never have enough time to play as much as I wanna (job, wife, daughter, home, etc.).

When I do buy it's usually Mega Media Exchange, Discman, Disc Go Round or RecordHead.Occasionally Gamestop. Always remember if you don't support your locally owned businesses they will go out of business. And in my area the locally owned shops are always cheaper than Gamestop.

I really don't anymore, after using GameFly I saved a crapload of money on games I might have considered buying before. Out of 20 I only bought 1, but if I really want to buy, eBay.

Amazon for the most part, but I do stop in to Gamecrazy and Gamestop occasionally. Been a while though, so I was unaware of Gamecrazy's current state....sorry to hear they aren't doing so well. If I had to choose one video game store to keep around, it would have been them. :(

Usually Amazon because I always get excellent deals, not just on older games, but brand new games, too. If not there, then I usually head to Best Buy.

Yep, this. And some are even cheaper. Tekken 6 is $53.99, so that's saving more than $10 over buying it in a store for $59.99 + tax.

I get everything from Amazon. Good prices, and the private vendors who sell on Amazon quite often have stuff at a great discount. I don't like Gamestop, the nearest one is thirty miles away and when I went to buy a game, they had the empty box on the shelf, but no game to go with it. Also don't like buying opened games and paying new prices. I can get opened games in brand new condition from the sellers on Amazon - they call them "used games" - and they're considerably cheaper than new games.

I get my games at GameStop. Since I often trade my games in, it saves me money. Its often that games come out with some sort of extra content of some sort if you reserve it or pre-order it and GameStop offers to do that with no extra cost.

I buy most of my games from Best Buy because of the Rewards Zone. I have $25 worth of rewards to spend right now because of the TV and all the games I've bought there over the last 3 months. If Best Buy doesn't have it, Walmart is usually my 2nd option, and if I really can't find what I need then I go GameStop as a last resort. I used to always go to GameStop but I got tired of them trying to pass off opened copies as new.

I have a bunch of other places where I buy games. I buy used games mostly on EBAY. But I also buy used games from Gamestop or Blockbuster. As for new games, I usually only buy from Amazon or Gamestop.

i mainly go to best buy and use their reward zone and gamerzone membership to earn points. I buy from amazon when I want to get older games. I found that some older unopened games on Amazon were cheaper than buying those same games used from gamestop.

I buy all my games and accessories from playasia.com, nice cheap stuff with very cheap ( regular post office ) shipping. I have ordered 10 games and a few electronic devices like the SONY bluetooth headset, and i haven't had a single issue with them.
