I've been trying to find the best place to buy video games online (especially COD black ops even tho its pre-release and preferably at auction). While searching ebay 2 try 2 find the best deal on Black Ops (for ps3), I came across a listing stating (from a person with 5000+ feedback) saying they also have it for sale at auctioncombat.com I went there and they do have black ops starting off cheap tonight so I might take a shot. My question to you is have anyone tried this site before? Does anyone have any recommendations of other sites (besides ebay & amazon) that have video game auctions (there does not appear to be that many)?
Not getting worthless black ops but Amazon is by far the best place to buy video games. If you pre-order a game you get any were from 10-20 dollars off you next video game purchase. I have been buying my games from Amazon for years. I just got Fallout:New Vegas for $10 due to all my promo credits. On average i pay 45-50 dollars per game because almost every game has a credit towards next purchase. Just checked for ya, you can get black ops for 59.99 but, when you pick shipping speed pick release date delivery since its only .99cents which makes it 60.98 total and you will recieve 10 dollars off your next game purchase.
I get all my games from Amazon, if you pre order from amazon you usually get what ever the pre order deal is and $10 off your next video game purchase.
Since I'm from Switzerland, I use the online retailers alcom.ch and wog.ch. If I import games, I tend to get them from play-asia.com or dircetly from the publisher (like store.nisamerica.com)
I usually buy from Gamestop, Game Crazy (when it was still around) and Best Buy. Sometimes I'll buy from Wal-Mart or Target if there's someone working the electronics department.
I buy all my games off Amazon. They have the $20 credit for Black Ops again so I just preordered it. They say 200 bonus points but in the T&C for the offer is says its $20 off your next game purchase.

It might work. Under shipping it says, "This item is also available for shipping to select countries outside the U.S.". I would think Canada would be one of those 'select' countries since they're so close. But then again, maybe not since Canada has its own Amazon site. Only way to find out is to try ;)
Amazon is my bread and butter when pre-ordering and buying games. However, I occasionally pre-order from Gamestop when they have a certain exclusive and whatnot I wish to take advantage of.

So I checked and I can get the games from .com BUT
1. It will take 7 - 14 days to get here instead of 1
2. I need to pay shipping regardless of my shipping choice. ($7 or $8 )
does anyone know anything about Glyde. It's something that gamespot is supposedly partnered with. You can buy and sell games, cds movies etc.. Anyone have any experience
I get all my games from Amazon and the sellers on Amazon. I've shopped around a lot and they pretty much always have the best prices. And free shipping on orders over $25, no sales tax, and $10 off your next game purchase when you pre-order a game.
there isint really any places around me to get games since gamecrazy is gone now so usually i got to walmart, which sucks. but i may have to check out amazon since people have been suggesting it
