I have no problem waiting for things, as long as they're implemented correctly. Firmware 2.4 will almost certainly come out in July, as E3 is the perfect time for it to come out. (Big media event, long-awaited features.)
PSN Cards being late are NOT the end of the world. Yes it'd be nice to have them, but it doesn't wreck the features of the PS3, it just means you have to use your Credit Card to pay for stuff. It is unfortunate for the younger PS3 gamers, though.
The Home thing is interesting, 'cause I remember that right after the initial details for it came out, almost as many people were saying things like "I hope I'm not forced to download this.", as the people were saying, "ZOMG this is the best killer app EVA!" So, yes, while Home is something that Sony mentioned should be out right now, I honestly think that the prime time for hype on Home has already died down, and people are becoming more skeptical.
I think the in-game XMB and trophies that will be implemented with Firmware 2.4 will satisfy most people. Yes, some people will uncontrollably whine about Home not being out, but they'll have to be must a little more patient.
So does anyone have any info on when the playstation cards come out? I have a job but no credit card, crap.
As long as I get my 2.4 update, I will be happy. Sony is slowly getting back on their feet. I am pretty satisfied right now, but I know that the true experience of the PS3 still hasn't been experienced (though, it's hard to top something like MGS4).
Just hope that they dont screw up their major focuses like Home and I hope that their exclusives like LBP and Killzone 2 come out great.
