You won't get much at GameStop, but an online site like eBay or a game store like Game Crazy should give you a better deal.

Is Gamestop any good? Have you not noticed the vile hate I and others have for that evil place supported by brainless zombie gamers? You will get ripped off at Gamestop. Ebay is what I always sell my games on.

Ebay or Amazon is probably your best bet.

Gamestop sucks they'll rip you off. I remember I traded in THP8 for my psp and they didn't give me much for it. The next time I went there I saw it on the shelf for a bigger price then what I had sold it for. Trust me you are better off taking your chances with ebay... or amazon.

Well of course they're going to sell it for more than they buy it for. How are they supposed to make a profit if they don't? Gamestop has some decent trade in values. Some are terrible though. I traded Brawl in for like 29 bucks which was a good deal I suppose. So for popular games go with gamestop.

Gamestop is all about giving you the least amount of money for your trade as possible. I buy my games at Gamestop (I HATE tracking down salespeople in the electronics department in Target and Wal-Mart) but I sell my used stuff to Game Crazy. You'll get more money. Plus the people are a little nicer.

Try blockbuster or Ebay, both are actually really good.

The main advantage of EB Games/Gamestop is that, generally speaking, they WILL "buy" (a better term would be trade-in, since the store credit you receive is Monopoly money in the real world) your games immediately, provided they're current gen, okay condition, etc. There's also that fact that it's a chain store, and probably most easiest to access. From a business point of view, that value they give you for their games is fair, since they're taking your games for the purpose of turning it into profit. Personally, I've gone to Buy/Sell/Trade sites like Kijiji, Craigslist, and RedFlag Deals (woot! RFD!), which have been pretty useful for me in getting the best bang for my games - most of the time with minimal loss ($5 most) from what I've paid. It's all about researching (if you have the time) which stores/people will give you the most money.
