seriously...i don't think they sell them in stores...i've looked at target, wal-mart, meijer, and k-mart...nothing i've seen some used ones at a gamestop around here...but nothing good is there anywhere the sells UMD movies...am i just not finding them in the stores

Well they sell them in GAME and GameStop or buy them Online at Ebay or something.
There are cheap ones at GameStop and there USED and some are not.
Anyway i live in Spain not USA so i cant help you that much.
To be honest with you, I'd avoid buying UMD's. They're way to expensive for a simple movie, and though the prices are dropping, so are the selection of new releases themselves. Like you said, you've been to a bunch of places and weren't able to find any, that's because big retailers realize that unless Sony lowers the overall price of the UMD's, people are just going to invest in Blue-Ray players and films.
Anyways, that's just my two-cents, I realize the novelty of watching movies on the go, and wanting to do so in a legit way without downloading pirated divx films. In the end, the choice is yours.

I'm in the same situation. I'm not paying $30 for a UMD movie on ebay :|
The problem with UMD movies is that I don't think they were ever popular in the first place. Sales weren't going to well, plus, I think Sony is more keen on advertising for the playstation 3 right now then psp umd movies. That's probably why you can't find them anywhere.
Try Bestbuy. That's the only place I have really been able to find them(besides Gamestop, but they never have any good movies) besides on ebay or whatever. However, everytime I go to Bestbuy their umd movies are very limited, like only 6 ot 7 different kinds.
every place that used to sell them where i live basically stopped like best buy and wal mart. the only place that sell a large amount of umds where i live is frys but then again, i havent been there in a while so they might have stopped selling them
few current movies on umd, but thats because (i think anyways) the psp isnt that popular. and that is because (i think anyways) it was too expensive for a long time. now that the price has dropped, and with some exciting add-ons coming (gps, skype), maybe the psp will become more popular. sony did the same thing with the ps3: outpriced it so people couldnt afford it. if mom and dad go to the store to get little jimmy a console and the wii is $400 less then a ps3 which do you think they are gonna buy. it was the same thing with the psp and ds. you would think sony would have learned from their mistake. if more people had a psp then maybe movie companies might have seen it as being a possible good soucre of money to make the movie available on umd
I seen them at Walmart and Target but haven't bought a umd movie anyway. You could try gamestop if they sell umd movies with the used game section. I seen Ghost Rider, Spiderman, 007 Casion Royal, at my local Target pretty cheap but don't except to buy them.
