Where to enter the BFBC2 AKS-74U code?

I think I got my VIP code in but I dunno where to enter the code to unlock the AKS-74U gun. Am I supposed to wait for the in game store to be functional or what?

Theres 2 codes. One for the AKS-74U and another for the future maps comming up. One you enter at EA stores and one at the PSN redeem code thing

Yeah, I got the code when I preordered it from gamestop (I think amazon was giving codes out too) and for people who don't know the code has to be entered at the EA store. The code is 16 letters/numbers long and your only allowed to enter 12 on psn. Since the store is still unavailable I can't redeem my code.

My gawd, this sucks! Couldn't they have given us a limited edition gun and not something we can eventually unlock by ourselves? What's equally bad is that the gun is exclusive to engineers and I don't even really play that kit.

The VIP and AKS-74U codes are too long for PSN Store. I've entered the VIP one but still can't do so for the AKS-74U.

Don't get me wrong, I love the game but this is retarded. The game has been in development for how long and hey can't get the in-game store to function?
