Yeah, PlayGear Pocket Slim (for 2000/3000) is great. I never take it out of the case but to change games/plug it in the PC, and it's actually more comfortable to hold with the case.
I just got the hard case that sony makes for it..it holds 2 games and 2 extra memory cards.. maybe u can fit a couple more memory cards in the slots but I haven't tried it.. it's a really nice case..has a screen protector and everything.
