A 22 inch HDCP Samsung Monitor

or

a 28" relatively clear for SD Sanyo SDTV?

I currently use the SDTV and have just ordered the monitor, I want to know whether Ive made the right choice, what do you guys think?

HD is far better than sd - but it will depend on how far you sit from the screen!!!

HD will most probably look better than SD, but you're still losing size here (6 inches whaaat?!). But if you don't care about the screen size itself, the whole image you're getting will be awesome enough for your eyes ;)

Hmmmmmmmm, well if I get the monitor Ill be sitting quite close to it yeah. Its just arranging some seating thats comfier than my PC seating...urgh. I might put it at the foot of my bed oooo

You should be fine if you're that close - but you can pick up some great bargains on decent sized hdtvs at the moment!!!

Its GBP200 ($400) which is good for a 22" in the UK (They average at about GBP250, whereas a 20" Bravia is GBP450! Thats $900)
