Wait, I want to make sure I have the right game first. This is the fighting game right? If so, I will naturally play Cloud. But I will also play Sephiroth, Tifa, Aeris, and I am not sure who else. I would have to go back and look at all the different FF chars in the FF world.

it is butz in teh japanese version, and in the ffv release on GBA it's bartz. The same with terra, her name was originally Tina in teh japanese version, however they changed it for the american audience because tina is a common name in NA. I assume they did the same with bartz/butz. The japanese word for butt probably isn't butt, and they probably figured the name would be subject to ridicule in NA.

yes this is the fighting game, but tifa and aeris aren't in it. only the main antagonist and protagonist from teh first 10, some character from 11, and i think judge gabranth from xii? correct me if i'm wrong about that one.

Ok, then yes I am interested in this game. I am not to huge on fighting games, but do like them. I can't wait for Tekken 6. I hope this turns out good because a FF fighting game would be awesome.
