Which Do You Prefer?*

This is for sure a topic discussed before, but I wanna bring it up again. Which version of the PS3 do you prefer? The big PS3 or the Slim? If you own a slim would you rather have owned a fat? Or possibly vice versa

Big PS3 because touch panel and mine's ceramic white. If only Sony produces white ceramic slim I'd buy it.

the slim is soooooooooooooo much quieter then my launch 360 and uses half as much power.

I've always liked the original versions of Playstations better. Didn't like PSone much, didn't like the PS2 slim, that thing was way too small.
And I don't like the slim PS3 either, I like the glossy finish of the Fat's as I take care of thhem and they don't get dirty/finger-printy. And I don't like that they made the touch buttons into actual buttons on the slim.
Plus I just don't like the fact that it is smaller, dunno why.

And the new slim 360 only furthers my opinion that slims are worse. That thing looks awful.

i never owned a phat, but technically speaking PS3 Slim is hands down better. the ONLY drawback is the lack of backward compatibility.

I like the slim because you can't get a FFXIII Lightning Edition fat model anywhere :P

I thought the slim looked really cool and hi-tech when it first came out, but now that I've gotten used to it, I'll take my big shiny box over it any day:D

Big PS3

I prefer the slim model. Mostly because of the matte black finish. If the original model was available in matte then I would have that.

I like the slim because you can't get a FFXIII Lightning Edition fat model anywhere :P

I like the slims better. However I don't like the cringe-inducing cracking noises they make and I miss the touch sensitive buttons on fatso. It's nice not having to worry about running out of HDD space, YLOD/disc drive failures and its good looks don't get wrecked by dust, fingerprints and smears. Those were the worst things about 60GB's.

PS3 Phat because it's backwards compatible with PS1 and PS2 games, it has the switch in the back and it has more USB ports.

PS3 slim.

Runs cooler, quieter, less electricity, less chance of breaking down. The phatties eat a ton of electricity! And slim is much smaller as I prefer to have my gaming system almost hidden away where it isn't so obvious. The matte finish and smaller size looks better to me. I like my PS3 as I like my girls.... Nice and slim. NO FATTIES!

For my money, it's the slim.

I prefer the slim with the matte, that's why I plan on buying the 4GB 360 slim.

i like my things to be large and huge.
