If your a sports fan and good at sports games, Madden 10. If not, and you perfer violence, Soul Caliber.
Check out the "On The SPOT" video show from last week, gameplay footage and a VERY positive review on gameplay and features. You have a very difficult choice as "Madden 10" is also a critic's wet dream.
I wish the psp would make another hockey video game the newest is 07thegambit1985Seriously it makes me sad. The disc/download would never leave my PSP. I'm still playing Gretzky 06 or 07...better than nothing I suppose. Even just a sim hockey game like NHL10's GM mode would kill tons of hours for me.
A SPORTS game has more replay than a FIGHTER? You're joking right? With all of the unlocks and Create-A-Character in SC, you'll get alot more play time out fo that...Unless you're that into Madden...Which in that case, where you really ever NOT going to buy Madden in the first place? Thanks for all the answers but i think im going to get madden 10 just because it has more replay value but i will eventualy get soul caliberBD.

Being more of a fight game fan than football, I still say that you'll get more out of Madden... fight games are pretty one-dimensional. It all comes down to taste, but I get more replay out of "NASCAR 06" than I do out of "Street Fighter", say...

I guess I don't understand because I don't play sports games...Well, you're certianly not a lepper for it... as I've said I'm no football fan, or soccer, or tennis, or basketball or hockey... so I guess for the larger part I'm not a "sports" fan either!:D
I see "Madden" as an open-ended set of possible longer-lasting games. The biggest problem with fight games (and remember I AM a fan of fight games) is that matches are about three minutes in duration (60 sec round clock, or whatever) and then you're doing it all over again with the next match-up. "Madden", a game can last up to about an hour or just under it, during which time the game can shift in many different directions, you have career modes and franchise modes which can be weeks and weeks of building a team and taking it to the top. Not that you don't engage in leveling and unlocking in "Soul Calibur" - Heck, if it's out in NA right now I'm buying a copy TODAY - but I just thought I'd speak my heart, even though it goes against what I would personally do.
I'm conflicted. Sorry!
