Which game do you think is gonna be the PS3's " Gears of War " ?

Now don't think I'm an XBox360 fanboy . But you gotta admit , Gears of Wars is an amazing game and the XBox 360 owners are really lucky to have it . In the same way , which game do you think is gonna be the first great smashing hit on the PS3 ? Which PS3 game is GameSpot gonna give a 9.6 /10 ?

I think it's gonna be Metal Gear Solid 4 : Guns of the Patriots .

Heavenly Sword, maybe Oblivion, Lair, MGS4, little big planet, there are alot of games with excellent potential.americahellyeah

I would argue that there's nothing truly outstanding about GeOW, but it's a well crafted game, as is something like a Resistance or a MotorStorm. As for a game even Gamespot might reward with a AAA, I think Heavenly Sword might turn out to be an amazing game.BenderUnit22

GeoW is an amazing game for 6 hours long period only. I don't have anything to lose by not playing GeoW, even though I played it already. MGS4setyono

i think heavenly sword is a gamble because they focus alot on the animation and actors. metal gear is good if your hobby is trying to get into places you dont belong. in my opinion, if guerilla does it right, killzone could be the gears killer.

same engine and same development group, in fact, it looks like GeoW  :lol: I mean, in terms of design and environment layout, etc.

btw, GeoW didn't looked very amazing, it looked great, but not as "super-perfectly-great" as eveyone talk about, they hyped, and that is it

I own both, so that's what I think, and I do play it through, both casual and hardcore difficulty

help, is there a way to like change the background of your ps3 main screen? like it comes with a wierd wave background and i would like to change it to like a resistance fall of man since i like resistance. oh yeah i have another question also. help, i can't hear people talk on the ps3, like i don't have a headset, and well i can't hear people talking in resistance when i'm playing it, is there a way to enable voice so i could hear them? or you can't hear them? because it's kind of awkward running around shooting in awkward silence when nobody is typing or even saying anything.ddldave

This topic is pathetic....enjoy what you get if you look at other gaming sites we already have games that have scored equal to or higher than gears anyways...its all opinion, so stop whining and play your gameslonghorn7

I think it will be something like Litle Big Planet. That game has ALOT of potential for non gamers, and web flash gamers. I think it will move a lot of consoles, and sell like no other PS3 game til then.

I think also we may see Heavenly Sword rise to the pinacle that GeoW has in the eyes of many. As I mentioned before, like it or not, GeoW sold lots of 360's for MS. Was it that great a game? Not really, it was fun single player, but way to short, and I rarely play anything like Gears online (more of a Graw and R6 type gamer), so I get little to no value from the online multiplayer in GeoW.
