Which game has the BEST AI (Artificial Intelligence)

just as the title states...

Either Killzone 2 or Uncharted

i think that the AI in NHL 09 is quite good, but the best AI is probly in FIfa 09. (only for sports game tho)

Probably Metal Gear Solid 4 for me..

K2 is pretty good mainly because they take cover and actually act like they dont want to be killed on some occasions. Really a bad AI can just make a game really lame, some games the AI you face all seem like they just came from the short bus at school

KZ2! Those Helghast see a grenade tossed they run the opposite way. And the first game I seen that you can actually give "cover" fire.

Life's AI sucks.. all the characters are really stupid. They're either killing each other over nonsensical things or killing themselves with drugs and stupid decisions.

Worst AI of any game ever.

It's Killzone 2 for me, because I did not expect an AI to be that smart lol.KZ2 made me a proper nade tosser, since just throwing a grenade uncooked will waste it.They are out of the way before it lands.

FEAR 1 for PC

Has better AI than Killzone 2. On easy you can literally go through every mission just knifing everyone in KZ2. Good luck trying that in FEAR.

Unfortunately....a lot of people here are new age console gamers...probably have never played FEAR for PC

Bioshock, hands down. It is the only game since Halo 1 where I actually noticed how smart the NPCs (enemies, bosses, etc) are.

MGS4. They react on everything from sounds to snakes actions.

but really Far Cry 2 had good A.I or it was stoopid cos u could spot a guy run towards him (while he aint lookin at you) and knife him
also when sniping as soon as u fired they didnt shoot back right away they coverd and then finnaly knew where your at

From all of the games I have ever played, I think some of the best AI lies in F.E.A.R., Halo Combat Evolved, Crysis, and Killzone 2.

I still think the BEST of all time lies within Halo CE.

MGS4 and Killzone 2 both have incredible AI on their higher difficulties. I was playing skirmish on Kz2 against AI on Elite difficulty, and it was like I was playing against people, except better. They did the exact kind of things people do. They spawn camped, hid in corners with shotguns, threw grenades every opportunity they had, and plenty of other things. It seemed just like people. I was expecting hate messages after the match...

in kz2 enemies were pretty much retarded, they'd always take cover but they never even tried to flank you, in uncharted the enemies would keep running at you as you gunned them down rather than taking cover, how is that smart? Smart is mgs4 where they listen to everything you do, they notice you from so far away and they even smell you out

I have to assume that all the people putting KZ2 have not played F.E.A.R. Because it's not even close or in the same league as it. Honestly play them and just watch what the NPC's do. It is ridiculous. And you'll will have blast with them. Fun, Fun games.

original F.E.A.R. and expansions. also, the original half-life had some sweet AI with the ninjas, they'ed weave in and out of unexpected places and get a shot in the weirdest of angles-too bad they only saw about 30 minutes of game time... ( all this back in 1998 )

LOL i've played F.E.A.R and to say it has the best AI hands down? PLEASE!!!! haha the game was ok (very overrated) wasn't scary.....the AI was so-so.........best AI in a game that i've played would be MGS4...killzone 2 was pretty good also but for everyone trying to say F.E.A.R...come on really?
