Hey so i decided to get a new game and my conclusion was either rainbow six vegas or ghost recon.. i have never played any of the tom clancy series games before. So i was wondering which one is better or are they both horrible? keep in mind i like games with a lot of replay value. Thanks :)
my advice is rent both and choose one....cause everyone is different, some will say graw is way better..some will say R6v is way better
....personally i havnt tried graw 2 ...only the demo but R6v is pretty sweet.....but i dislike many things about the online...but theyre working on a update so...
I have R6 vegas and its great. It has some chances for sniping but with this game you must be prepared for close quaters fighting. watch the tournaments going on n gamespot they have a 3 part R6 vegas tournemant. its all about taking out the enemy in different ways and being tactical. the worst position to be in online is when you and an enemy are both pinned by eachothers fire. then its all about popping your head up at the wrong and right time as most the guns are extreamely accurate. graw 2 will be more ranged and you will have more chance to get away from the enemy. thiugh if someone does score a hit it is almost always fatal. theyare both great but I personally would like R6 as it is more close quaters and dramatic. especially when you have to reload and you just hope that the enemy dosent run up and shoot you while reloading. but then there is always the handgun to fall back on.
I have played R6 V more but I'll be honest both are amazing but for single player R6 v has a larger campaign though GRAW 2 has better graphics. they are both great and if you like tactical shooters then just get both. in the uk GRAW 2 is like £25 and R6 v is probably pretty cheap by now.
hmm thanks for the feed back so far. maybe ill give rainbow six a try.. also how is the multiplayer scene for it? is here usualy a lot of players online? and this is the first tactical shooter game i have ever played so i hope that i can enjoy it... im use to only playing shooting games like cs and stuff
I have both and they are both great, i ll just give a slight nod to GRAW2 for better graphics and online feature.
It all depends on what u are into, either close quarter combat (RSV), or more open (big) outdoor maps (GRAW2)
The co-op in GRAW2 is great and u can play up to 4 people on one screen for offline multiplayer and co op.
never the less i still go back to R6V. I m a tactical shooter fan so i love both game, they both suit me and I play one or the other depending on the mood i m in :)
I had R6V but thought it was a bit last-gen and a bit overrated. GRAW2 has fun enviroments and has way better gameplay. No-brainer for me but you may think differently.
You need to go with GRAW2 on this one. Trust us for your sake of 60 bucks. Cleaner looking, more realistic, and, are you ready for this, and actual lobby system. I still have R6 but will trade it in for Lair soon. Thats how much better GRAW is.
