Which is Better NOW Call of duty 4 or WaW?

4 vs WaW: Pros & Cons

COD4 - Guns are just better all around, more accurate, more realistic sounding, bigger selection.

WaW - Flamethrower, Tanks, Co-op Split-Screen, and of course ZOMBIE MODE!!!

I personally like Modern Warfare better. Post what you think! Pros/Cons?

I hate it when they are compared, but I hate it even more when people say a certain one is WAY better than the other one. It's just not right. It's different settings, guns, perks, but basicly the same gameplay. SoNin360

COD4 is a game that will be remembered over the years, with its guns and online gameplay. They are both games of quality but i found COD4 to be a better game.coolguy681

WaW is overall better than cod4 but now killzone 2 is out and it beats both.....Griggrr

Something I noticed in COD4 Online....In some of the levels, have you ever been doing some VERY long distance sniping, or simply turned a corner too fast, and then crap your pants when you see a silhouette of a soldier right in front of you, but then it turns out to be a stain on the concrete of a shadow or something of the like? I think this was on purpose, someone please tell me they have noticed thisNasty_butler_9

I still think COD4 is a much better game. I haven't played much of WAW's multiplayer, but I was more impressed with COD4's maps and overall stability. I haven't unlocked Nazi Zombies since I haven't beaten the single player yet (been taking my time on it since I started playing on Veteran -- on the Breaking Point level now). I get stuck on a lot of scenery in the single player campaign -- and my teammates are always in the way, which really should have been thought of during the programming phase. I don't know if this is a Veteran-only problem, but the amount of grenades that get tossed in the campaign is absurd as well.

After I get my platinum trophy, I anticipate shelving this game, really... will probably pick up Killzone 2 the same day, in fact. But I want to beat this game on Veteran first... I didn't come this far for nothing.

while the maps on cod 5 are better than cod 4 something are missing for an example the weapons are pretty useless I only like the one that u unlock in level 53, the modes feel ok , but the charm of ocd 4 is unbetable for that reason I consider it far more superior to cod 5 goyolap

Yeah, the maps in COD4 are just perfect for multiplayer. WaW doesn't have any small maps, and in most of them you're out in the open.

If Modern Warfare and WAW got into a fight it would be like Tyson vs St Etienne...Tyson being Modern Warfare....

it obliterates WAW...I still can't believe Game let me trade in WAW for £25 to get KZ2....crazy idea...
