HS820

 http://www.amazon.com/Motorola-HS820-Bluetooth-Headset-Hematite/dp/B0002WRGHG/ref=pd_bbs_3/103-9067811-1185465?ie=UTF8&s=wireless&qid=1179799270&sr=8-3

or HS850?

http://www.amazon.com/Motorola-HS850-Bluetooth-Headset-Packaged/dp/B0007WWAGI/ref=pd_bbs_1/103-9067811-1185465?ie=UTF8&s=wireless&qid=1179799270&sr=8-1

Concerns:

1)  PS3 compatibiliy

2)  Battery life

3) snugness of fit (will it stay on)/feel (does it hurt your ear after a while)?

Thanks!

Ever have any sync problems or have to resync it. I have the H350 and it blows have to resync it just about every time and even then sometimes it doesn't take and I need to do it over. And mine seems kinda quiet on full volume when I talk to some people.

i only used it twice so far for resistance and its loud, very loud

As for your other question i do, but i think its only because i also have it paired with my computer and cell phone, when the boom opens it tries to connect with everything that has a bluetooth activated.

i believe the ps3 doesnt have the bluetooth always activated that it why i have to go to the settings menu and resync it...mind u i dont have to pair it everytime though.

Im gonna try it later with my phone and computer bluetooth off and see if the ps3 sees it.

ill be back

Sorry I can't help with your question, but I can say that I hvae the H500 and it works like a charm but the fit is somewhat loose.  Not enough to make a difference but you can't get away with headbanging with it. lol

With regards to the two I posted, I read a lot of reviews:

The HS850 on Amazon is not "bulk packaged" they're actually used and/or refurbished (and people were ticked about the beat up condition the item arrived in).

The HS820 seems to have a battery problem, i.e. you can't charge it after a month or two of use.  Debate whether it's people misusing the charger or a design defect.

So I may not buy either.  Warranties are worthless because companies drag there feet hoping the consumer will go away.  I may look into the H700.  I love the "OEM" H700 on Amazon.  Rip off item that looks like the Motorola is not what OEM means.  (i.e. they're claiming it's the same guts but a different casing).

I have the Motorola H300 and it works great. I have had to resynce the headset with my PS3 but it's rare when it happens so it's a non issue for me.
