You can tell it's good if you put it in slow motion and watch it.  It has an amazing frame rate + check out the race scenes: it's very clear.

Casino Royale, Underworld: Evolution, and The Prestige are all amazing.  If you got $100 to burn Planet Earth is the best though!

I believe Happy Feet has one of the best transfers for a blu-ray movie. And if the trailer for Pirates 3 I downloaded from PSN is any indication Pirates 1 and 2 on blu-ray will be beautiful.

Black Hawk Down.  It's a great movie, plus it got great reviews in terms of picture and sound quality.  It's a huge improvement over DVD.  And I would get 300 which comes out in July.

Yeah, I got this site bookmarked.  I won't purchase a Blu Ray movie before checking that site to make sure the transfer is high quality, so I don't get a turd like Ricky Bobby.

I would highly recommend BLACK HAWK DOWN, one of the best action movies out there... Other than that, I'd suggest you go for CASINO ROYALE, MATRIX SERIES, n BATMAN BEGINS (If they have it). Ohh n if you can wait for it than defi. get 300.

Underworld Evolution is one of the best Blu-Ray transfers out there.  But don't worry about it, just get what you like, the picture and sound quality is better than regular DVDs regardless.

the sound quality in Black Hawk Down is un-matched especially if you have either a 5.1 or 7.1 surround system in your house
