Which nba your going to get?

Im still undecided between nba inside 09 or nba live 09, truthfully out of playing both demo's i enjoyed nba live 09 a whole lot more, seems to be a vastly improvement from last year's version. so nba live 09 for me :D

As for nba 2k9, i dont feel like getting it unless the ratings is fixed lol :P

2K9 is really the only option, its a no brainer.signore

2K9 for sure, but I did enjoy NBA Inside 09 I thought it was pretty cool. Don't like the artwork of their bodies and faces, but yeah it's okay.

NBA09 the Inside is the best because of "The Life." That's the story mode that 2k9 and Live 09 aren't going to have. But Live 09 is still a good choice, it had better graphics than 09 The Inside and I liked that they let you take some practice shots with your team in the gym. I don't really have too much faith in 2k Sport's games after MLB 2k8 because that game felt like it was made by retards.

I say 09 The Inside is the best choice, but buy what you had the most fun playing.

i saw the sony's the inside game commercial the other day, and i must say, the player models and animations look terrible. i think sony should let go of their basketball dept. its unnecessary to have 3 every year, and without a doubt, Sonys NBA 0_ series is the bottom of the barrell.

When it comes to baseball however, the SHOW steals my heart every year.

Live 09 is actually pretty good this year, yeah but i kind of catch your drift, its no comparsion towards nba 2k9.

I'm not even a basketball fan but I really enjoyed the demo of NBA Live 09 so I may pick it up. I also did try the demo for NBA 09 The Inside and I'm actually shocked people are even considering to get this game. The Inside is horrible in every aspect. The commentary is not fluid nor good, terrible graphics, terrible animations, sluggish controls and terrible A.I, I mean, the guys just run around and don't cover their man.

I hope a demo comes out for NBA 2K9 so I can make a decision whether it will be 2K9 or Live.

2K9, by a landslide. I could care less about the DNA thing with NBA Live. I think it's a cheap gimmick, but a good try nonetheless.

I was really turned off by the NBA Live demo. The fact that you couldn't control your player's "hang-time" was really disappointing. Nothing about it screamed realism like they promised so I won't be getting it.

2K9 all the way. Besides, I like KG on the cover. Screw Parker!

Ratings only affect on playing against CPU. No matter what the player rating is, as long as you know how to use the player, he can contribute a lot. Whenever I use Lakers in 2K8, DJ Mbenga is always the top scorer. He's a monster under the ring! :D

Being a long time basketball fan, I had my shares of NBA Live and in last two years I found NBA 2K to be more realistic and pleasant to play.

If you know your team, you can utilize them to be very productive. After playing the latest NBA Live 09 demo, I have to admit, EA did a better job then last year, however I can't really say, (other then visuals), that the game will be major contender to 2K.

I'll still wait to see how 2K9 turns out, I was impressed by the gametrailers videos and it seems like we'll have even more smoother and realistic basketball this year.

I'll hold on and see how both games turn out before purchasing, for now I'm keeping my eyes on 2K9.

too bad you cant play dna and graphics... 2k9's gameplay still destroys live 09. I havent played 2k9, but played live 09 demo, and 2k8 was still miles ahead. I also prefer the graphics of 2k9 to all, lives are alright but they animations are terrible (2k has the best animations in ANY Sports game. Period) and lives player models look lifeless and similar to 10 years ago.

What's up with all this "oh my god, the ratings are over 100...we are going to die" stuff? 99 is okay, but 100 isn't? Why? Where is the difference in changing a players rating from 80 to 81 and changing a players rating from 99 to 100? I don't get it...is it because 100 is a three-digit number? Yeah, better be afraid...

No, it doesn't mean you are perfect when your rating is 100. Have you ever tried to create a player in a 2k game (or Live for that matter)? You hit an overall rating of 99 pretty fast. Try it. Create a player and give him all stats somewhere between 85 and 90...he will probably get an overall rating of 99. 100 isn't the upper bound/limit...never was and (at least in 2k9) never will be.

An overall rating of 100 isn't the same like having a single rating on 99 (which is the max. for a rating).
