Which online shooter has the biggest community?

I just got my PS3 and I want a shooter that no matter what time I go online with it, there are a boatload of people playing. The type of shooter doesn't really matter as I enjoy them all. I was thinking about getting either Uncharted 2 or Bad Company 2 because those seem to be getting a lot of multiplayer hype.

MW2 has the most people online

Well Bad Company 2 and Uncharted 2 are severely different games. I have loved the many hours I put into Uncharted 2 and it is far better of a MP game than i had expected it to be. Bad Company 2 is superior IMO in terms of MP as it is one of the best MP games out there.

Here is the thing, if you are getting one for just MP then I say get Bad Company 2, but be warned that some people are having connectivity issues right now which are supposedly being resolved with new server and server updates as we speek.

I love the game and have had much fun with it on PC. Uncharted 2 is an amazing title though and one of my favorite games of all time. IMO don't get MW2, but if you like really insane unreal tournament like combat then go for it.

Both of those are extremely good choices, it really just depends if you like first or third person shooters. I personally think that the multiplayer of Bad Company 2 has a most lasting appeal to it while Uncharted has the better of the campaigns.

As far as the biggest community goes, without a doubt Modern Warfare 2. Though it doesn't really matter too much how many people play seeing as though you'll get a full server in any of these three games as you can only play with around 20 players at one time, so if your looking for a game you can play with a huge community of people look at MAG (supports 256 players in one battle). Just some things to think about. Though your two choices are probably the best.

I say buy one of those games used first, and exchange it you don't like it. Sort of like renting a game, but there's no fee.

Exactly! That being said I think the PC community of MW2 is much smaller than the consoles and that might make BC2's community on PC close or bigger than MW2 in due time. I may be very wrong but I am sure both are very large, but BC2 is better ;).
