The official Sony Bluetooth headset. The same one that comes with the socom bundle. Trust me, its worth the price. Make sure you sync it up using the USB cord. Some people, including myself have experienced online lag when you sync it to your system wirelessly.
Definitely the official PS3 headset. It comes with Socom, or you can buy it separately.
It's an excellent headset. I got it yesterday and it worked amazingly well online. I'm also using it with my cell phone, and it also works amazingly well with it, too.
The only bad thing about the official one is that the earbud is a bit large for some people (myself included) and it doesnt fit the ear very well or securely. Great headset though i can only use it for my PS3 and only for a couple hours before i have to switch ears. It could be perfect for you though lol.
yeah, the official headset is by far the best headset for a video game console. it's perfectly clear and almost never runs out of batteries. you can also use it for your cell phone :D
As others said the official PS3 one; it is great and when it needs to be charged put it on the charging dock, and press the power button and you can use it as a speaker phone, and everyone will still be able to hear you great. P.S. Just dont put it on speaker next to surround sound, as when your playing the game it will pick up everything, even people in the next room.
Agree w/ most here....Official PS3 headset. Stay away from the MadCat ones...I have one, I forget but think it was about 50 USD...it works "ok"...but overall I think it's junk
