[QUOTE="LtColJaxson"]Definitly 60GB since it has every feature. You can upgrade the HDD. The 60GB has the EE.Phantsy16
Whats everything? And whats EE?
EE: Emotion Engine. What the PS2 had, so the PS3 basically plays all PS2 games. The other systems (except for 20GB?) don't have it.
40GB will be missing stuff, only 2 USB ports - no backwards compatibility.
80GB no EE, just emulates PS2 games - so it doesnt play alot of them.
60GB has everything the other systems don't have. You can upgrade the Hardrive to like 160 and over. Wi-Fi, 20GB doesnt have it.

Ahh ok, thanks for that!
the 40gb to me is perfect for ps2 owners who are going up to ps3, since they will probably keep there ps2. 20gb is okay but 60gb is alot nicer just because of the accesories given at only 50 dollars more. 80gb is pretty high up to, just prefer 60 because of BC, but technically sooner or later 80gb could have better BCCosmoKing7717what? the 80gb could have better BC? you do know the 60gb has the ps2 main processor built into it, the Emotion Engine. It pretty much has a ps2 built in it. So how could the 80gb EE-less ps3 have better BC off software emulation?

I wonder if Sony will use the software emulator to take care of those 5% on the 60gigs.

20GB lacks wifi.
40GB lacks BC altogether. (maybe just a rumor? or has this been confirmed?)
80GB lacks full BC because it misses the EE chip
There are only 2 downsides to the 60GB model:
1) It is more expensive than the 40GB one.
2) It does have less space than the 80GB one. (easily remedied by swapping out for a larger HD)
80 gig is overprice, i have play the 60 gig and is just great... also i wouldn't spent more than 20 gig in a PS360( +20 gig not needed).

I think i might end up getting a 20 gig from somewhere since it has the ee chip in it still. I think it also has hdmi still doesn't it? If you look under the retail configurations section of this wiki page it says so:
