I recently bought a PS4 and the only games I have on there is Assassin's Creed IV and Outlast. I'm not sure which game I should get, if you have any suggestions, feel free to tell me. However, I am currently torn between Watchdogs and Infamous: Second Son. Should I get Watchdogs, Second Son, or neither? Both seems fun in one way and boring in others. Wolfenstein seems interesting but doesn't have my complete attention.

Any thoughts?

Watchdogs has more content otherwise I'd say go with whatever game world sounds more interesting to you.

@thegamingjunkie:

inFAMOUS Second Son is a must

Killzone Shadow Fall is good.

Need For Speed Rivals is good.

MLB The Show is good. You can change the pitching and batting controls from their defaults. I think the default controls suck. I'm very happy I can change them to something much more fun.

UFC is good.

Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut is good. It's been a long time since I've played it--BECAUSE I HAVE TOO MANY GAMES--but it's one of the best indie games IMO (I think I got the name right too).

Watch Dogs is really good, but not great; not in the fun dept; it could be better in the fun dept. Play the Saints Row series and/or the inFAMOUS series and you'll have more fun.

I got my platinum on second son within a fortnight, so get that, plough through it (because it's pretty awesome) and then trade it in for watchdogs.

Out of Second Son and Watch Dogs, I'd go with Watch Dogs, but don't forget about Second Son altogether. It's definitely a worthy addition to your library if you're into open world action games when you can afford to get it or get bored with Watch Dogs.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is also worth a look. Meanwhile on PSN, you could check out Resogun, Transistor, and more. Good times.

I'm having a good time with Watch Dogs, I would strongly recommend Child of Light and Trine 2: Complete Edition on the PSN. Superb games.

Killzone: Shadow Fall and InFamous: Second Son are also good addition to the library.

My first games will probably be Infamous: Second Son, Watch Dogs, and Killzone Shadow Fall. It doesn't seem like any of those games met their expectations, but I'm still most looking forward to playing Second Son because I love the series. Watch Dogs's reception was a bit underwhelming, but I can't turn down an open world game like that. As for Shadow Fall... I'm not sure if I should even bother with it, but I've played every other Killzone game, so why not. I'm sort of on the fence about AC IV. I'm still kind of fatigued from the series, but I've heard mostly good things about Black Flag... I have no interest in the upcoming Assassin's Creed game, however. I have no idea where the story is going anymore.

Watch_Dogs has a high replay value. Always important when you have a next-gen console but little game choice to choose from. Watch_Dogs Season Pass too... a whole new story line will drop soon with a different character. Infamous Second Son has a semi-mediocre replay value as the character can go in 2 different directions. But Watch_Dogs would definitely be my first choice.

Personally I love KZ SF, both SP and MP, but you might also consider BF4, COD Ghosts, and FFXIVARR, btw.

I'd prefer InFamous for being exclusive, whereas myself I am waiting for the Wii U edition of Watch Dogs now (seriously!)

I was pretty late, but I'm glad I finally picked up Second Sons. Great game..but a lot of my friends preferred Watch Dogs.

I'd also say watch out for the upcoming games from WB Games like Batman and LOTR: Shadow of Mordor...their E3 demo looked awesome.

@thegamingjunkie: I'm playing though it at the moment and honestly, there are moments where you have to use some strategy and brain power :) Very enjoyable game, if you haven't yet tried, I strongly suggest Child of Light, excellent game.

I was really hesitant about Watch Dogs because of the graphics (I know right) but I think I'm still going to get it anyways, as well as inFamous Second Son :D

I am going to get Need for Speed Rivals when it's not costing me 120 bucks to get. But Resogun is also a good choice. Battlefield 4 was also a game i liked

Out of Watch Dogs, Infamous and Wolfenstein, I easily enjoyed Wolfenstein the most. Out of the other 2, probably Infamous.

I would get drive club instead of settling for need for speed. I would admit that after bashing watchdog I would get it over second son. I played both and second son looks and plays well but replay for second son is low. Both had weak stories a although second son was better but watchdog shine with side missions, online and just sheer infinite crap to do. I still believe the graphics in watchdog are a fusion of old and current gen. You could wait for October where all the AAA games are coming and dont get watchdog. Nba 2k14 is worth it also. I would get a used copy of mgs ground zero if you like MGS series which I do.

I wouldn't get black flag but unity maybe a great game if they fixed repetitive combat combos, ffrom black flag and stealth mode. The 4 player co-op mode could be great I IF done right for unity. I think Unity has a more interesting setting if they make a great story in reference to the French revolution.

Definitely inFamous. Watch_Dogs I'm a bit mixed on, but it's at least worth a rental.

Rent Killzone - it's a love/hate game. Hopefully the DLC juices some life back into it.

Also look at Resogun, Child of Light, Transistor, Don't Starve.

Infamous Second Son is pretty good, but the side missions are meh. Despite all the reviews, Knack is a pretty good game. It does have its issues, but it is still at least worth one playthrough. Resogun is also pretty cool. I have good things about Wolfenstein, Child of Light, and Transistor. If you want and awesome platformer, and have not played Rayman Legends yet, then pick it up.

The ones that interest you enough to buy.
