[QUOTE="hofuldig"][QUOTE="frankieguy"]Which one is better 720p or 1080p?Chutebox
I use 1080i.
1080p is better what els? the bigger the number the better.
That's not true. If you're on a lcd or plasma I'd use 720p if 1080p wasn't available.
sometimes 720p is better than 1080i but if youre using a tv bigger than like 50 inches you want to use 1080i (or P if it supports it)
mine is 40 inches, and native 1080p, but i let the tv decide what resolution it should play in. It works and looks good to mesilversurfergold
I'm sadly still at 480i. I have the component cables but not the main component, the tv.T-Machine99
I use 1080p on my 40" LCD. I reverted back to using 480i cables, to see the difference, and... OMG.
The best output really depends on ur TV resolution and the supported resolution by the television. For one fact, ur TV will always output at ur TV's resolution, regarding the 720p or 1080p, it's the SIGNAL thats coming in.
If ur TV supports native 1080p, then obviously 1080p would be ideal. But if ur TV supports 720p, 720p would be ideal, Theres a case where 720p native TV support 1080p signal, for that i would suggest u keep it at 720p signal since 1080p signal on a 720p native would require downgrade.
