I've already purchased GTA 4, MGS4, Oblivion and Uncharted and I was thinking about one of these for my next purchase, but i'm confused about which one to get. At the moment, I don't have high-speed internet, so online gaming is a no-go until i get back to college. Each game seems like it's got a lot to offer, so can anyone help me out here?

Well if you don't have online I'd say go with The Orange Box. 4/5 of the games don't require online. I haven't played the others, but I heard CoD4 is short and I'm not too sure about Resistance. I love The Orange Box. HL2 is one of my favorite games. I highly recommend it.

I actually love the Orange Box, but I heard the framerate can drop on the PS3 version. I recommend COD4. Great story, and if you eventually get online...it rocks :)

Resistance for singleplayer, Call of Duty for multiplayer, and Orange Box for everything.

If you want a variety of games, go with the Orange Box... 5 games in one at a great price. Also very good. Cal of Duty 4 is an outstanding game if you can enjoy the online part as much as the story. Resistance is a good game, but with this list your best bet is the Orange Box, hours of fun and when you get online, GET COD4!!

Having not played Orange Box, I'd have to go with Resistance for offline play, since, by comparison CoD4 is very short. However, once you get online play, I'd recommend getting Battlefield: Bad Company.

Get The Orange Box. It gives you more bang for your buck than the other 2. CoD4 has a great single player experience, but it will last you one whole afternoon. The Orange Box, on the other hand, will last you atleast a week. That's quite some time for a shooter. Ontop of that, Half Life 2 is just a better single player game in every way. The music, story, characxters, guns....everything about it is top notch. The multiplayer is excellent too. It is funny and great looking with excellent animation. The art rocks.

I actually also prefer Resistance to CoD4. The singpe player was better. The weapons were inventive and it doesn't do the 2 big problems that the CoD series refuses to fix (enemy spawn points and completely regenerating health that takes a hell of alot of the challenge out of the game)

Anyway. Yeah. The Orange Box. Best deal ever
