im getting both! lol. anyway, id say FFXIII is the better choice. Im actually thinking God of War may be the better game, but FFXIII is going to be great, and itll last you longer. think about it. FFXIII= 40+ hours. GoW3
Get FFXIII first since it probably lasts longer before you finish it. I can't buy both either too but i'm easily choosing FFXIII first, might keep me hooked into it before i have cash for GOW3 lol... up to you to follow this advice though, either way good luck!
i have been leaning towards FFXIII just because of the length, and i usually find myself getting very into RPGs and doing all the extras, i just hope it will stay exiting and wont drag on... but im sure it will be AMAZING.

God of war 3 is probably gonna be the better game and all the god of war games havent been too long, bordering at about 15 hours, so you'll be done pretty quick unless you want to do the challenges. FFXII on the other hand will have a very long campaign, well over 40 hours, and will keep you playing for much longer. What I suggest is that you but FFXII for now then save up to buy God of War 3 later. That way before you have even finished FFXII you would already have the money to buy GOW3. If you buy god of war first, you will finish it quickly and have to wait to get the money while having nothing to play at the moment.

I would recommend GOW3 because well I am getting it day one. :D The game will have massive replay value with all the challenge rooms, costumes, easter eggs, and difficulty.

I'm getting both no matter what and resonance of fate.I don't usually stockpile more games than I can play, but between getting my taxes back and some school books i sold back I don't feel bad about spending so much on games.

And definitely Final Fantasy XIII. While both are fantastic, FFXIII will last you far longer and give you a masterpiece story to suck you into. After you finish and are still mesmorized by the awesomeness, go get GoW3 to unwind with some gruesome badassery. If you get GoW3 first, you'll be so jazzed up from ripping people apart and watching blood spray everywhere that you'll find the action a little anticlimactic.
