Should I get the

47" LCD HDTV 1080P 120Hz

or

52" LCD HDTV 1080P 60Hz

They're roughly about the same price.

get the w series, definitely better than the v, and 46" isn't that much smaller than a 52 so you don't lose anything.

probably the wrong forum but it really depends on your viewing distance. my brother had a similar dillema so we made cardboard cutouts of the different sizes and used them to compare. are you able to go to a store where you can view both?

I honestly can't tell a huge difference between 60hz and 120hz, but there probably isn't a huge difference between 47" and 52" either, because they are measured diagonally. So maybe go to the store and compare?

I would go to a store and compare them in person.

I have the Bravia 52" XBR, one year old... before they upped the refresh rate, but I'm not sure I would be able to tell anyway. What I do know is that my Sony is the crown jewel of my house, I have always had Sony TV's, and always will. Never had a problem, and the picture is just amazing. One spot on my couch is now worn out from sitting in the same spot playing games lol, I need a better couch
