i know for people who just got uncharted 2 myself included that will say uncharted 2 without thinking about it but when you do think about it which game did you think had a better story?

try put visuals aside and just focus on story because uncharted 2 is so much more impressive due to the visuals and u enjoy it more but if they both had the same visuals which would you pick?

I say uncharted 2. Both stories were pretty similar, but Uncharted 2 got the pacing down perfectly and really had me sitting in awe at the end...hard not to love it xD

To me, Uncharted 1 got worse near the end while Uncharted 2 got better, so Uncharted 2 for me.

Loved both games. They're on my top 10 list

SPOILER ALERT!!!!

Unfortunately the story on both of 'em was the only thing that bothered. Same story on both of 'em, even down to the "weird monsters/guardians transformed due to wahtever they're looking for" at the very end.

Uncharted 2 definitely. There's more backstory to the villains, more allies and a good love-triangle.

I actually thought those guardians weren't people who searched for the Cintamani stone but people who were left behind so nobody gets the power of the Cintamani stone.

I think you're right but...

MORE SPOILERS!

In the first one the Spanish or Germans turned into those monsters because of the curse of El Dorado. In the second one second one they turned into that because they ate/drank the sap from the tree. It just seemed a little too similar. But like the above poster commented, the pace in which everything happened in the second one is incredible.

BTW, I love the games. They're both some of my all time favorites, there's no hate going on here hehehe. Also, I apologize that I don't know how to hide the spoiler comments

I'm still not sure if those guardians really drank of the sap. Why didn't the same happen to Lazarevic and Schäfers SS friends?

My guess is because they were there for so long and drank more of it, but that's just speculation, really.

both are equal- Uncharted 2 is just a more 'epic' version of Uncharted 1. I liked them both loads though! Nice build-up to the twist. I gotta sayI dont like how Drake was all 'supernatural is stoopid seeing as his previous adventure was...well... ya know. Plus, Uncharted 2 had less Sully. That made me kinda sad :( Redeemingly, the villians were more interesting in Uncharted 2, and the betrayel moment was prett outa the blue

Uncharted 2 by far. Better character development meant I actually hated the "bad guys", compared to the first game where I really didn't care if they died. The story was pretty similar to the first, but it felt more thought out and just epic overall.

Well imo I thought Uncharted 1 had a way better atmosphere then 2, see in Uncharted 1 you were all alone on that island no help and you could not just back down and go back to your house and give up. You had to fight for survival and the first one was creepier. Now the second one you have drake going into the action, he does not seem like that type of guy who would put his life on the line just for money. The second was not creepy and like the above poster said Uncharted 2 felt like it just copied the first alot but ofcourse played it all out in a great way so it did not feel like it until you thought about it. Im going to have to say the second one because it truely felt like a movie to me and it was very well written however the lack of sulley really pissed me off even tho he is getting old.
