Dragon Age, Borderlands doesnt last that long, I have Borderlands...and I'd say its at its most fun, is when you play co-op.
DA:O is a single player game with a long storyline and a ton of replay value. Borderlands main quest can be completed rather quickly but the side quests can keep you immersed for quite some time (tho nowhere close to DA). Borderlands most popular feature is its online co-op, so it all depends on what kind of game your looking for. Between the 2, id invest in DA (which is available for under 40 at walmart here in canada), and wait on the price drop for Borderlands.
Well, so far, borderlands wins on this, especially when you consider that DAO already has a required DLC that you have to pay $7 to get.codezer0How is it required? You never need the storage during regular gameplay as there are a ton of backpack upgrades. Then again, if both are still full price the choice becomes a bit more difficult (Dragon Age is selling for $40 in Canada).

Thats 2.5 hours per dollar.
Dragon Age. Borderlands is basically just a generic post-apocalyptic shooter with loot elements. I'd get Dragon Age and take advantage of this weekend's Steam deal (Torchlight for $10), that way you get a great RPG and a loot game done right, and it'll run on pretty much any PC.DJ_LaeI wouldn't call it generic in the slightest. Borderlands is a FANTASTIC game and so is Torchlight. Both are awesome.

On the pc version, some just go about enabling dev cheats, and then mod their files to then have 500-something slots to work with, but even I think that's more than a little extreme.
I have both games and personally i regret buying Borderlands, love Dragon Age. For me i should have realized that i cant stand FPS games, ever since Goldeneye on the N64 i have never enjoyed one and i picked up Borderlands cause it looked attractive but its definetelly not for me. U said u play MW2, FPS isnt a problem for u and Borderlands is more fun when u play with others, single-player isnt fun on it where Dragon-Age is a single player RPG. Do u like RPGs? If so u cant go wrong on DA:O, but both games are completely different, one is strictly single-player where Borderlans is a co-op expereience
