Which to buy for christmas?

I'm not really sure which ps3 model to buy. Which is best for your money? Can I buy morememory for my ps3? I would like it to be backwards compatible but is it worth the more cash? I don't want to buy the new 120gb cuz it looks like a recycle box :)

Go with the newer slim. I am looking into buying a PS3 too and after talking with countless of people slim is the way to go. Its newer, runs faster, and of course smaller and lighter. I really don't care for the un-supported backward compatibility because I am buying a PS3 for PS3 games, not PS2. I still don't get why people rage about the un-supported backward compatibility...but that's just me =)0ds

Doesnt matter really...you can buy a notebook harddrive off new egg or soemthing and upgrade the memory if you want too
