Now that number 3 has come out which Uncharted game would you say is the best in the series. I still think I perfer number 2 over because of its massive improvements over the first game.

Only played 1 and I'm currently playing 2, but I liked the characters from 1 better (Sorry Chloe, but you can't hold a candle to Elena). But I like the gamplay from 2 better. The combat especially is much improved, more varied and exciting. Though I thought 1 mixed up the combat and platforming better - seemed like you did a little of one, then a little of the other. With 2 it's like there's no platforming for quite a while and then there's so much of it I kind of get tired of it.
Uncharted 2 by far.
Uncharted 3 was pretty disapointing to be honest (still a good game though).

Agreed. The aiming issues in single player really were a major problem for me. Aside from that, the game kinda went too over the top at times, to the point where it just got so cliche that it was annoying. I really had high hopes for it, but so far the only thing that it's been impressing me with is the graphics.

You must have read my mind.
Oh damn, don't ask me that. I love them all. I haven't finished playing 3 yet, so I don't know. But I'm really enjoying it. I haven't noticed anything wrong with the aiming, I'm doing just fine. In no way am I disappointed with it.
Granted I've only played UC2 and UC3, but I voted for UC2. The campaign was more engaging and I gravitated more towards the cause and the motivations of the characters in its presentation than I did in UC3.
UC3 is a marvel for its imagination in going bigger and bolder, but the "top that" mentality does come off too desperate at times and it doesn't quite combine into a cohesive whole. It's a visual marvel that simply needed more time in its early planning stages but once you commit there's no looking back. I fall in line with GS' review @ 9.0, very fitting for the adventure to be had. Oh, and the MP is outstanding, although the amount of blindfire accuracy needs to be toned down. Aiming seems like a formality most of the time.
