Which upcoming hyped PS3 title do you think will be a flop?

Yeah i dont know much about Haze, but i have a bad feeling about it.

yea haze hasnt been looking super stunning and killzone hasnt really shown me anything special that makes it stand out from other games to come

haze, i still believe killzone2 may be a good title

also i believe that for the ultra hype, MGS4 will not satisfy people expectations even if it surely will be an awesome game

A 'flop' is defined by what people expect of a game. I'm rarely hyped for games, so they don't flop for me if they turn out bad.

As for games the general public seems to be hyping, I don't think Haze will be anything special. Maybe about 7.5-8.0 which is by no means a bad score mind you, but I think some people expect it to be a 9.0+ which I doubt.

well i too will have to go with HAZE. i want it to be soo good but out of all the upcoming exclusives it seems pretty weak in comparison... i used to be super excited for it but the gameplay now doesn't look all that amazing. idk we'll see once the scores come in

As soon as i read the title of of this topic, HAZE sparked up in my head.

until now really i havent seen anything that impressive coming from it. I saw the gameplay videos and i just have a bad feeling it might get mediocre rating just like Army of Two where there was this huge hype yet its OK. it wasn't phenomenal. again also an example of a hype would be the latest Need for Speed which was very highly anticipated but yet it was reallllly bad.

Haze, I just don't get why its so hyped up. Is it even still hyped at all? And the other one which I really hope I'll be wrong is killzone 2. Its just that the odds are against this title. Guerilla studio really has a lot to prove in this industry and up to this day they still haven't brought anything fulfilling to the table.

i think Haze (whats so special about this game anyways?), Killzone 2 (the first one flopped, have yet to see why the second one would be significantly better).

personal i think i'm not gonna like Metal Gear 4,,, hated the 1st 3 so fail to see why I would like this one. Probably still gonna buy it though,,,, ran out of worthwhile PS3 games to buy and I still have crap load of GCs from various places.

I honestly don't get why ppl are saying GTA IV, I haven't seen anyone say that it'll be bad cept for these two guys/girls in this thread, it's going to be the greatest game of all time, and the other GTA's were godlike as well.

My vote goes to Haze (even though I'm not hyped for it)

tons of multiplayer modes, up to 24 i think? online , nectar, great story, 4p coop, stealing guns, playing dead, more vehicles

To me .. none ... to others some. All games are looking great IMO.

I do hope you're right for PS3's sake. KZ2 has a lot of potential for a flop, but then hasn't it got the highest budget ever spent on developing a video game? I'd hope that would account for something..

If I judged GTA4 by my personal taste then it would flop but if I go by what it delivers to it's fans I would say it isn't a flop. This goes for any game or game system.

Yea... They will all jump on the bandwagon later.

If anything KZ2 is one game that I think might flop. The majority of folks here are graphic fiends and gets all hyped up because of the visuals. We have yet to see some serious gameplay footage and let's not forget, Killzone for the PS2 was nothing to get excited about. Haze will be the answer to COD4 with the frequently existing multiplayer issues.

nonsense, Haze looks awesome. I can already tell its gonna be one of those games that people on the GS forums are gonna love to hate, but I'll be picking it up release day and I'm 81.3% sure its gonna rock.savinger

That's it? You need more faith man. I am 100% sure. But it's good that you favor it unlike so many. I will happily go to the retail store, throw down my $65 and pick up Haze with no regrets. Only time is the enemy at this point.
