Which would you go with, if your not into Online.. only single player??

LBP, Resistence 2, or COD World at war... Im not much into online, just single player campaigns...

Any advice, i can only get one

Tough to say cause I own R2 and LBP and LBP's story mode takes only 8-10 hours to complete and then after that it's more or less online. I heard the campaign for R2 was relativly short but otherwise ok. For COD : W@W I couldn't tell you

yeah, i mean i can go online, i just dont get much into online play...

I'm a single player campaign guy..

Im just trying to figure out which one to get..

Probably LBP. There is a lot of game play in playing by yourself, the campaign you could play over to unlock new things. You could play other players levels, and you can also create your own levels. vs Resistance 2 which is more of a multiplayer based game

The R2 campaign is great, and can be replayed several times without going "old". LBP is fun too. Can't say anything about COD...

Ah I see then. Well with LBP and R2 your bound to get hours of gameplay in then. As for COD : W@W I guess would be the black sheep of them.

I'll see you on there lol I haven't even opened my copy that I got for Xmas cause I got both the first and second one for Xmas off my wife and I've yet to complete the first :P

Yeah, I'm just finishing R1 as well! You didn't mention Fallout 3, have you played it ? If not, it's an incredible single player experience. I'm in about 75 hrs, and set it aside because I don't want to finish it. Sad huh? PC version, though.

I thought about Fallout 3, but to be honest, im not much of an RPG Oblivion didnt do much for me, so i was worried Fallout 3 wouldnt.. either.. but it looks amazing.. Maybe i should of given it more thought... looks like that may have to go on the CREDIT CARD LOL

I'm not much for RPGs either (just couldn't get into Oblivion), but I was totally enthralled with Fallout. It has it's first person shooter moments too (not quite as slick as a true FPS, but...) , as well as, stealth, action and adventure, and exploring. Lots and lots of exploring.

i'd say LBP because you can use the online connection to get user created levels after you beat the single player campaign, and you're not forced to play any of them with other people.

Well, I can't be too much of a help because i've only played R2 out of the 3 games you mentioned. What I can tell you, is that R2 was a great game, and although relatively short..it was A LOT of fun and had a great story. It is easily one of my favorite games for the PS3 so far..and I think it is deffinetly a game you should take a look at.

If your into action games I'd recommend Devil May Cry 4 or Ninja Gaiden: Sigma. Satisfing single player games.

None of those would good as single player only games. But if that is what you have to choose from, I would go with COD: World at War. The veteran setting by itself will keep you playing for a while. The other two have pretty short single player.

i didnt like R2's story line at all. That game is meant to be played cooperatively and competitively.

I've got both but I haven't played LBP much yet. Resistance 2's campaign is great but its a little short.

i would say widen your selection .. fallout, oblivion even things like prince of persia or something... none of the your game choices really last that long... i mean if you don't like competitive online.. LBP is good a fun with teamwork.. cod world at war had such thins like co-op zombies mode... resistance has online co-op but that was my least favorite for single player, and actually the worst of the three to me...

None..they are all great online. I'd say go with Valkrie Chronicles or dead space or something like that which has no online and focuses on single player.

I say LBP because of what all you can do on it. Plus you can download stuff onto it, without having to actualy play online

Resistance 2 or LBP if your only going for single player although I say R2 because it's longer and if you try to get all trophies it'l ladd more singple player replay value. LBP collecting is also fun but you're going to need co-op to complete them all.
